Native American Tribes Are a Vital Part of Oklahoma

United For Oklahoma is a public education initiative supported by a coalition of tribes that are committed to nurturing mutual respect, shared strength and productive partnerships. The mission of the initiative is to raise awareness of tribal impact across the state.

Tribes are an Oklahoma success story. Strong, sovereign tribal governments are an economic engine that, in 2017 alone, provided nearly $13 billion in state revenue and overall economic impact. From jobs and roads to emergency services and education, tribes contribute in innumerable ways that benefit all Oklahomans. The communities where tribal nations live, work and build see it every day.

Cities and towns across Oklahoma understand the importance of unity. Neighbor joining hands with neighbor has always been the source of the state’s strength. That’s why Oklahoma is a great place to call home.

Oklahoma Thrives Together.
